In Charge!

In Charge from Alena Wooten on Vimeo.

Photography done by Diana

Well well well! A sculpt!

This sculpt was inspired by a beautiful drawing, by one of the most humble artist I know, Peter de Seve. I work with him on a daily bases and sculpting from his designs is so energizing!

This piece will be donated to Beautiful Grim , which is an art fundrasier to help a friend who had to go through chemotherapy and a bilateral mastectomy for fighting breast cancer. There will be an event either in LA or New York for the auction.

I'll see if I can post the link to the drawing that inspired me to sculpt this. It's in Peter's sketch book, if you have that handy...if not, you can always support him by buying it! ;)

Size: 7inches
Medium: Super Sculpey

Looks great! It definitely looks like De Seve's style. I met him once back in college. Great guy. Love the tiny dog. It adds so much character.

Wow! I just stumbled onto your work and it is truly remarkable. This piece, in particular, is gorgeous. I love de Sève's work and this interpretation is wonderful. Has he seen it? I'd imagine he'd be blown away.
